| If you have not heard yet Joe (Bootboy) Pio, Who the benefit show was thrown for apparently MADE ALL THAT UP!!! Allot of GOOD PEOPLE, BANDS, and COMPANY'S (including DETROIT BLUEBLOOD ACCESSORIES) worked very hard to help put on a BENEFIT SHOW for an old punk rocker who they thought had cancer. He has screwed people over before but we all put that aside to help him out. Detroit Blueblood made all the shirts for the show at cost and donated 10 shirts for donations (about a $400 loss for a company just starting out) Other than the BS from Joey it was a great show Thanks to all the bands, everyone that helped and everyone who attended, THANKS JOE BOOTBOY FOR HURTING THE WHOLE DETROIT PUNK SCENE!!!! If you bought a shirt at the show contact us and we will send you an iron on for it so you will still want to wear it. (contact me if you have any good ideas) |
"Turns out Joey has been lying to everyone. Sue took him to Karmanos today for chemo and when she
went in to check him in, he took off on her with all the money she raised from the benefit and headed for
the dope house. Karmanos has no record of him seeing any doctor recently...they checked the past 12
months. He has been having all his friends drop him off for what supposedly is his chemo treatment. Sue
was just the first one who insisted on going in with him.
So we are going to assume he doesn't have cancer and if he actually does, he'd rather buy drugs than
see a doctor.
Spread the word...don't give him a ride, money or let him even crash. A lot of people, especially Sue, went
to a lot of time and trouble for him and he went along with all of it. Joey is a pretty fucking sick person
letting everyone think he had cancer and do so much for him. Personally I'm hoping he's smart enough to
leave town...he's burned a lot of people in the past, but nothing compares to this elaborate scheme. I
know what I'd like to do to him, but all I'm going to say is that I hope we all pull together just one more time
in honor of Joey Bootboy and teach him some Karma...Detroit style."
